Robin specialises in both commercial property and planning matters, making him ideally placed to advise on urban regeneration and other major projects.  An active member of the CPO Association, Robin has advised on major infrastructure and town centre developments for a number of local authorities and their joint venture partners.  Robin has also advised on major events, acting for The Royal Parks in connection with Winter Wonderland, BBC Proms in the Park, Radio 2’s 'Festival in a Day', the British Summer Time Concerts and a number of other events.  Robin previously worked in-house at a local authority and as a solicitor for a national law firm.

 KEY PROJECTS

Regeneration Advice to Slough Borough Council

Advised Slough Borough Council on a major regeneration project as part of a Local Asset Backed Vehicle Partnership. The work encompassed seven key sites, for a variety of uses. Robin advised on planning agreements and other areas of commercial property law.

Development of the London Cycle Superhighway 

Advised the Royal Parks on the construction of this scheme.  His work included drafting the overarching agreement that regulates the works and ensures the preservation of St James's Park and Hyde Park. 

Regeneration of Sheerwater

Leading this regeneration project for Woking Borough Council. This includes securing a CPO and multiple negotiations.  The Council are building over 900 new homes as well as various commercial and community infrastructure.  

Acquisition of Third Party Interests by CPO

Advising Reigate and Banstead Borough Council on the use of a CPO to acquire third party interests in land in support of a major development scheme.

 

Section 106 Agreement Relating to Major Development

Advising Bath and North East Somerset Council on a Section 106 agreement relating to  the redevelopment of a former MoD site, to comprise 700 houses as well as retail and office space and a new school.
