Stephanie is an experienced planning and environmental law solicitor.  She has undertaken projects including CPOs, Section 106 agreements and complex planning obligations.  Her environmental experience includes advice on environmental permitting, remediation of brownfield land, dealing with pollution incidents, management of water bodies and the protection of habitats.  Stephanie has also worked as an editor for Lexis Nexis and the Practical Law Company (PLC) writing practice notes on a number of environmental topics. 



Highlights include advising: 

  • Low Level Waste Repository on low level waste storage and the promotion of a planning application to secure new facilities.


  • Bedford Borough Council on the CPO and judicial review needed to deliver a new bypass.


  • The Environment Agency on the Banbury Flood Alleviation Scheme and the Cobbins Brook Flood Alleviation Scheme. 

  • City of London Corporation regarding the redevelopment of Spitalfields Market. 

  • Anglian Water on a redevelopment of a wastewater treatment plant scheme for housing. 

  • South East Water on a new reservoir including advice on compulsory purchase issues, the protection of ancient woodland, Habitats Regulations and Environmental Impact Assessment. 

  • Associated British Ports on the Dibden Bay inquiry into a new container port at Southampton, including advice on the Habitats Regulations and planning agreements. 

  • A hotel chain on planning issues and planning applications.
