Prior to joining DJB, Neil was a partner at a large City law firm and a senior consultant to a number of public and private sector organisations. Before qualifying as a solicitor, Neil was a senior engineer and he is able to apply the technical knowledge he gained from this to negotiations and project work. Neil has an excellent track record of success in delivering complex infrastructure projects including major town centre regenerations for a number of London Boroughs.
Advice on a Major Divestment
Advising Rolls-Royce PLC on the £985M divestment of its global gas turbine business to Siemens AG. This project required approximately 200 agreements with a diverse client base to be negotiated, ensuring a smooth business transfer to the buyer.

Advising a well-known Facilities Management Company on legal issues including major projects, infrastructure, public private partnership (PPP), service contracts, construction contracts, EU public procurement and outsourcing advice to clients.
Contracts Relating to a Major Energy Centre Project
Advising a private sector developer on a major energy centre project. This required an EPC contract and a corresponding operating contract with a complex works contract. The capital value of the works package was some £25 million.
