PROCUREMENT
A specialist law firm distinctly focused on problem solving and delivering procurement solutions to the real estate sector.
If you’re a public body, or a private sector organisation looking to bid for public sector work in the real estate sector, and whether that involves a complex city centre regeneration scheme, a collaboration agreement with a development partner, a major net zero carbon retrofit or a simple works contract, we have the practical experience to help you at competitive hourly rates.
We are a national award-winning law firm specialising in all aspects of the real estate sector. We provide a practical approach to procurement and will help you to achieve realistic and deliverable procurement outcomes. Our expertise is based not just upon technical legal advice, but upon experience in leading major procurement projects, devising appropriate procurement strategies, as well as managing the procurement programme itself. You will get a pragmatic solution orientated approach to dealing with your procurement issues, whether that is devising an appropriate Standard Selection Questionnaire (SQ) to ensure your selection process is manageable and works for you or setting up easy to use evaluation criteria. We will also take you through the whole procurement process from start to finish and provide advice at appropriate times throughout the procedure. Should you encounter a challenge, or wish to make a challenge, we work seamlessly with our litigation colleagues to provide the appropriate advice and support.
Our Public Procurement team is led by Chris Hoyle, who has significant experience in this field acting for the private sector and particularly for a wide range of public bodies, including NHS Trusts, Councils, utilities, and regulators on a wide range of public procurement issues. He has also led the responses of affected bodies to the Government’s Procurement green paper and the BEIS consultation on the reform of the subsidy control regulations.
As a former senior civil servant, who has subsequently worked extensively in the private sector, Chris has procured or managed procurements of all kinds, from small projects up to and including some of the largest public sector contracts and he brings an “insider’s view” to this sometimes-arcane world.
As a firm, we are excited about the future of procurement and the opportunities for clients to take advantage of the flexibility promised in the Government’s forthcoming Procurement Bill.
