Advising on the construction contracts for the UK's first purpose-built Respiratory Centre weaning and home ventilation centre, purpose-built environment, located at East Surrey Hospital.

Advised the UK Health Security Agency on the full spectrum of real estate matters including leases, licences, wayleaves, and disposals for operational properties across the UK. This included playing a key role in securing leases for their Health Protection team as they took a frontline role in overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic.

Advising specialist bio-tech pharmaceutical company in relation to their move to the Welsh Government's new Advanced Therapies Medicinal Products facility at Pencoed, Bridgend. The advice covered the terms and conditions of the contract proposed by the Welsh Government (an amended NEC Contract) for the construction of the facility and advice on compliance with the requirements and regulations of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency during construction.

Advising the UK Health Security Agency on a complex leasehold sale of the 300,000sqft Rosalind Franklin Laboratory, the ‘mega-lab’ acquired for emergency test and trace and other Covid-19 related work.

Advised the Medical Research Foundation on various commercial property matters including landlord and tenant issues, deeds of variation, new leases and lease renewals. This included securing the lease of their London HQ at 99 Charterhouse Street.

Pharmaceutical Machinery

Landlord and tenant support to UK Health Security Agency.  This included advising on a lease of a laboratory in Wales.
