Melanie has advised blue-chip clients including Tesco, The Bank of England and Scottish Widows. Development of The Shard
Acted as part of a team advising Sellar Property Group on the development of The Shard, London Bridge.
Development of two large central London industrial sites into residential and student accommodation
Advised the freeholder owners of two adjacent large warehouse sites on their conditional sale for redevelopment into 500 student units and 400 residential units. The total value was £45 million. The project included dealing with complex overage provisions, deferred payment mechanisms, the release and re-siting of electricity easements and telecommunications masts.

Acted as sole in-house commercial property solicitor for One Housing Group housing association, managing a portfolio of over 250 properties. Melanie advised on all commercial landlord and tenant matters, acquisitions and disposals.
