MODERN SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING STATEMENT
Introduction
This statement is made in accordance with section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps taken by Davitt Jones Bould Limited ("DJB") during the financial year ending 31 March 2026 to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chain.
DJB has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically, with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and to implementing effective systems and controls to minimise the risk of modern slavery occurring within our operations or supply chain.

Our Business
DJB is a specialist real estate law firm providing legal services to public and private sector clients across England and Wales.
As a professional services organisation employing qualified legal professionals and business support staff, we consider the risk of modern slavery within our direct workforce to be low. Nevertheless, we recognise that modern slavery can exist in all sectors and remain committed to identifying and addressing potential risks.

Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain supports the delivery of legal services and consists of suppliers providing professional services, information technology, office facilities, recruitment services, training, cleaning, catering and other business support functions.
We recognise that certain sectors and services may present a higher risk of modern slavery than others and seek to apply proportionate due diligence when engaging suppliers.

Our Policies
DJB maintains an Anti-Slavery Policy which sets out our commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking and outlines the responsibilities of employees, managers and suppliers.
The Chief Executive Officer has overall responsibility for overseeing compliance with the firm's anti-slavery commitments and ensuring appropriate measures are in place to identify and manage risks.
The firm also operates policies and procedures relating to whistleblowing, recruitment, equality and diversity, and employee wellbeing, which support our commitment to ethical business practices.
Due Diligence and Risk Management
DJB seeks to:
• Assess suppliers before engagement where appropriate.
• Build long-term relationships with reputable suppliers.
• Incorporate anti-slavery provisions within supplier contracts where proportionate and appropriate.
• Monitor and review potential risks within our supply chain.
• Investigate and respond to any concerns raised regarding modern slavery.
No incidents of modern slavery or human trafficking were identified within DJB or its supply chain during the reporting period.

Training and Awareness
DJB provides modern slavery awareness training to employees and includes information regarding modern slavery risks and reporting procedures within employee onboarding and compliance processes.
Employees are encouraged to remain vigilant to potential indicators of modern slavery and to report any concerns through the firm's established reporting channels. Employees may also raise concerns through the firm's Whistleblowing Policy without fear of detriment.

Looking Ahead
During the next reporting period, DJB will continue to review its policies, supplier management processes and employee training to ensure they remain effective and proportionate to the risks faced by the business.
We remain committed to continuous improvement in our approach to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking.
