EQUITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

We are dedicated to creating a workplace rooted in equity, diversity, and inclusion. We believe our greatest strength comes from the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our people, clients, and wider community.

At the core of our passion, mission and culture is building an elite team, and to achieve this, we need to attract the very best talent from the widest possible pool.  We also need to nurture an environment where people are empowered to innovate, continuously improve and collaborate with one another, and importantly where everyone is encouraged to play to their strengths.

Remote and flexible working for our lawyers is standard. They can strike the balance they want between their professional and personal lives. This approach helps break down traditional barriers that might otherwise exclude talented individuals, particularly women and older professionals.

Our Legal Team focuses on legal excellence, while our Commercial Team handle the rest.  This collaborative approach ensures the right people handle the right work, allowing everyone to play to their strengths.

'High Achiever Awards' celebrate individuals in our commercial team who go above and beyond, not just in performance, but in the way they embody our core values. This monthly initiative ensures those who support colleagues, contribute meaningfully to the business, and work in alignment with our passion, mission and culture are celebrated.

Despite our lawyers working remotely, they remain closely connected to our commercial base through internal communication channels such as our weekly bulletin and firm-wide CEO Briefings, which celebrate and share the experiences of colleagues from all walks of life, and through regular social events.

Volunteering days, life-event days, and enhanced sick pay and parental leave are just some of our frameworks in place centred around our workplace being empathetic, supportive and inclusive.

We believe improving social mobility in our sector is key. In 2025 we hosted our first ever real estate exhibition at a local college – an initiative that brought together over 20 volunteers from 13 major national firms and teams, delivered keynote talks, and spoke directly with over 200 state-educated-A-Level students.

As a firm we host a quarterly forum focussed on ED&I. By hosting dinners for senior leaders from top UK and International law firms, we provide a safe space for conversations on topics such as Social Mobility and Gender Diversity, encouraging collaboration between the people with the power to shape thinking and strategy on these topics.
