Kevin has worked at DJB since the firm was founded and previously practised in the Government Property Lawyers, formerly a part of the Treasury Solicitors Department.
Kevin carries out a wide variety of land sales and acquisitions, licences, easements and leases for various clients. He has also worked on several of the firm’s voluntary registration schemes, personally undertaking numerous title investigations and registrations for English Heritage sites at Ironbridge and castles at Dover, Bolsover and Carlisle.
Property Work for The Royal Parks
Handlig a substantial volume of work for The Royal Parks, including licences for work and car parking as well as being involved with the London 2012 Olympics and ‘Boris Bikes’ Cycle Hire Scheme projects.
Voluntary Registration Project for the Public Sector
Undertaking voluntary registration projects for the MoD, English Heritage and numerous Local Authorities. Kevin has also produced lease reports and licences on behalf of HM Revenue and Customs.
Right to Buy Sales
Dealing with Right to Buy sales of freehold and leasehold properties on behalf of an ALMO, for which he is the lead lawyer.
Portfolio Management for Central Government
Dealing with both new and renewal leases for a central government body as well as the purchase of additional land connected with Public Spaces.
