Louisa advises clients on a wide range of commercial property matters, with a particular focus on development and agricultural work. Louisa previously worked for elite firms, Lovells (now Hogan Lovells) and Devonshires and was a partner at Wilsons. She is the lead lawyer to a number of our clients.
L&Q's £505m share purchase of Gallagher Estates: Louisa completed extensive title and viability investigations into largescale development sites (both greenfield and brownfield land). These sites were the key components of Gallagher Estates’ national property portfolio. Louisa’s advice was used by Clifford Chance in their negotiation of the corporate acquisition documentation.
L&Q's acquisition of a majority shareholding in Barking Riverside (a joint venture with the Greater London Authority): Louisa led a team of six lawyers on the title investigation of one of the largest and most ambitious regeneration projects in the UK. The project encompassed 450 acres on the northern bank of the River Thames, comprising the site of three former power stations and a municipal tip, which was to be redeveloped for residential and commercial purposes. Louisa’s real estate support helped to facilitate the successful completion of the corporate acquisition.
Option for 120 acre Solar Park Lease – Louisa advised a farming partnership on the negotiation and exchange of an option, conditional on planning, for the grant of a 25 year lease of a solar park, on 120 acres of arable land, which was charged to a funder and was subject to an agricultural holdings act tenancy.
