Ben’s specialisms include advising the telecoms sector, acting for clients including Telefonica and Airwave Solutions Ltd, advising developers and institutional investors on major acquisitions, disposals and real estate financing, and advising office and retail occupiers on landlord & tenant matters.

Ben is an experienced commercial property lawyer who has practised as a solicitor both in the UK and Australia at firms including Pinsent Masons and Eversheds.

Work Highlights

• Acting for Telefonica and Vodafone on their network consolidation via a joint venture company.  This involved over 3800 sites with a rent roll in excess of £43million. The lifetime value of the agreement is just under half a billion pounds.

• Ben also advised Telefonica on all of the telecommunication’s issues relating to the London 2012 Olympic Games.

• Advised Burberry in connection with the grant of additional floor space and associated licence for alterations for their New Cathedral Street store in Manchester.

• Acted for German fashion giants Bijou Brigitte on their store roll out in the UK.

• Advised General Electric on the sale of its property portfolio worth £1billion to Blackstone Group.
