Caroline is a highly experienced commercial property litigator, advising across all aspects of commercial landlord and tenant disputes as well as broader real estate litigation. She leads substantial claims and manages teams handling telecoms and property portfolios. Caroline has advised a wide range of clients, including retailers, property investment companies, government departments, developers, telecommunications operators, and charities. She is a member of the Property Litigation Association and regularly lectures on property-related issues to clients and surveyors.

• Advised Government departments on complex break options of office space, including settlement agreements and defending dilapidations claims.

• Advised PCE Investors Limited on landlord proceedings relating to a tenant break, including apportionment of rent (v Cancer Research UK).

• Advised tenant client on retaining historic Grade I-listed estate through vesting order and relief from forfeiture.

• Advised Landlord of prominent London premises on a dilapidations claim exceeding £1m.

• Defended Clinton Cards (Essex) Limited in claim following landlord withholding consent to sub-let (v Sun Alliance and London Assurance Company Limited).

• Advised City Council in injunctive proceedings following unlawful forfeiture of education premises.
