EVA HENDRY

Eva has over 20 years’ experience in commercial property law.  She has advised clients in numerous sectors on the full spectrum of real estate issues including acquisitions and disposals, landlord & tenant work, due diligence and reporting and the real estate aspects of corporate and funding transactions. 

In recent years, Eva's work has focused on due diligence and reporting for real estate acquisitions and finance transactions.

In addition to her private practice experience, Eva was an in-house Solicitor at Shaw Trust (previously Prospects).

Work Highlights

• Acting as lead associate and as part of a team on real estate acquisitions, disposals and financing, undertaking due diligence, reporting and negotiation of key and ancillary documents to facilitate such transactions.   The transactions include the acquisition of a large portfolio of multi -let retail assets, the refinancing of a portfolio of multi-let business parks and the acquisition and disposal of various multi-let shopping centres.

• Undertaking asset management work involving advising, preparing and negotiating a variety of real estate documents which include leases and ancillary deeds and agreements, occupational tenant licences, easements, wayleaves and options.  Eva also has acted on a number of acquisitions and disposals of industrial, retail, office and residential premises in London and nationally.

• Acting on the real estate aspects of insolvency and restructuring transactions, including the acquisition of a hotel from administrators by way of business and the preparation of auction legal packs to facilitate the disposal of a portfolio of properties of mixed use.
