
MELANIE GREER-WALKER
Melanie has a wealth of experience advising on a range of complex commercial property matters. She has recently advised on a number of multi-million-pound strategic development acquisitions and disposals.
Melanie also has experience of working with blue-chip clients, high-value lease work, portfolio management, business sales and purchases and refinancing matters. One client recently told the Legal 500 that Melanie Greer-Walker was, ‘the best lawyer we have ever worked with’.
After an initial career in corporate banking, structured finance and treasury at British Rail/Railtrack plc, Melanie trained as a solicitor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and worked at Addleshaw Goddard and Rosenblatt.

Advised Frugalpac on their move to a new head office and manufacturing plant in Sussex. Frugalpac are a new and innovative business which aims to eliminate coffee cup waste by using recycled paper for recycled cups.
Acted for Martinspeed Limited on the £23 million conditional sale of a large warehouse site for redevelopment into 500 student units for King’s College.
Acted for One Housing Group (whilst in-house) on all of the the legal issues to arise out of their 250 commercial properties.
Acted for leading pension company’s extensive commercial property investment portfolio: including dealing with lease renewals, licences, s146 notices, break notices and advising on all other aspects of leasehold management.
