Expertise

Sean is a recognised legal and business management leader with strategic and operational experience through a range of business leadership roles across the legal and property markets.  He worked at Blake Morgan (and its incumbent firm) for nearly 30 years, taking on the role of being the Head of their Property Business Group in his last four years at the firm.  Sean subsequently took on roles at the development company Two Saints Limited and is a Board Member at Teign Housing.


Sean has worked with organisations in a number of sectors including retail, leisure and financial sectors.  His personal leadership and management experience, as well as his passion for building high-performance cultures means all of his legal advice is delivered to help his clients achieve their commercial needs.


Sean has been recognised in the Legal 500.


Work Highlights


  • Successful development of a Thames wharf side residential, hotel, new factory and passenger terminal, long term development over three phases on behalf of landowner which also required re-development of the remaining landholding and a “clean” laboratory/ development facility.


  • Led the development of an innovative renewables scheme of 40 hectares of glass houses including heat transfer reservoirs, CO2/gas supply and resale opportunities with a GDV of circa £60 million. Acting over an extremely compressed timetable for site operator with landowner/ developer and a green pension fund bankrolling the opportunity to take advantage of government heat initiative payments.


  • Successfully led a team which over many years acted for many varied household names in the retail / leisure / financial sectors in their asset management requirements including acquisition and development of new outlet(s) facilities and developed a market recognition of expertise.


  • Acted for an internationally known retail watch seller for over 25 years in their UK portfolio management for their luxury stores and shopping centre brands.  Sites ranged from high street locations and retail centre developments to high-value, prime Central London sites, building excellent working relationships with various Managing Directors/In-house Counsel during that time.
