Yohanna is a planning and environmental law expert with experience across both contentious and non-contentious matters. She advises on urban regeneration, strategic development, major/mixed-use schemes, infrastructure and energy projects, and the promotion of nationally significant infrastructure projects via development consent orders, Transport and Works Act orders, and compulsory purchase orders.   • Advised London Borough of Haringey on planning, transport, and compulsory purchase and stopping up orders for the redevelopment of White Hart Lane Stadium, including a new stadium, residential units, and hotel.


  • Advised London Borough of Barnet on planning and five compulsory purchase orders for the Brent Cross/Cricklewood regeneration, including shopping centre refurbishment, new town centre, and 7,500 homes.


  • Advised National Grid Ventureson planning applications and compulsory purchase orders for the North Sea Link and Viking Link Interconnectors.


  • Advised Wheelabrator Technologies Incon a development consent order for two energy-from-waste generating stations in Kent.


  • Advised National Grid Gas Plcon a development consent order including compulsory purchase powers for a 6km tunnelled high-pressure gas pipeline under the River Humber.


  • Advised National Grid Electricity Transmission Plc on a development consent order for a new high-voltage electricity line in Norfolk.
