Former Lithuanian Embassy Building


Davitt Jones Bould were selected to undertake the legal work in relation to the disposal of the old Lithuanian Embassy at 84 Gloucester Place, W1 as the Embassy moved their operations to their new building in Besborough Gardens, Westminster. The 7,419-sq ft former embassy is sited in a prime location and has potential for conversion to residential/hotel use and was offered at a guide price of £3.5m. Active interest was shown by numerous wealthy investors from a number of continental European and Middle Eastern countries, with the property attracting strong bidding eventually seeing it sell for £5.05m, around 50% over the valuation.
