Geoffrey Lander has joined specialist property law firm, Davitt Jones Bould (DJB) as a Non-Executive Director to assist in expanding the firm’s presence in London and within the private sector. The firm is delighted to welcome Geoffrey’s expertise in business growth and development, along with his significant industry knowledge and connections within the world of real estate.
As one of the most experienced and specialised individuals in real estate, Geoffrey now holds a number of non-executive roles outside of the law, having retired from practise in 2003. Geoffrey was Head of Real Estate at Nabarros and latterly was the Non-Executive Chairman of Business Legal Services, London for Irwin Mitchell, a role he held for the past 5 years.
Commenting on his appointment to DJB, Geoffrey said that he is “thrilled to be working with a team of true specialists in an area I have such interest and experience in. I believe that with my track record in business development combined with DJB’s current presence and reputation in real estate law, we can set the stage for significant growth of the firm in London.”
The firm’s CEO, Peter Allinson said: “Geoffrey joins the firm at a pivotal time in our expansion and we are very excited to benefit from the wealth of knowledge and experience he brings to the table. The firm’s drive for expansion within London and the private sector will be greatly assisted by Geoffrey’s enthusiasm and expertise”.
Geoffrey joins the award winning team at DJB at a time when it can reasonably claim to be the largest niche real estate law firm in the UK. Peter Allinson states his intention that “the objective now is to place clear water between us and our competitors”.
