Latest Updates to the Planning Inspectorate's Procedural Guide

Planning Update June 2024

The Planning Inspectorate has updated the Procedural Guide regarding Planning appeals.

Planning specialists, Chrisa Tsompani and Stephanie Hall explain:

The guide has been updated to clarify PINS’ current position on late representations and to minimise amendments made to a proposal at the appeal stage. PINS’ guidance can change regularly, often with little fanfare. When relying on guidance, whether that be in the context of appeals or elsewhere, be sure to check the latest version online.

Read the guide here.

She is highly experienced in complex planning and environmental issues, having advised on planning and highway agreements, Biodiversity Net Gain, development control, enforcement, planning policy, s106 and s111 agreements as well as compulsory purchase orders to name a few.
