We are delighted to announce that have appointed two property partners that specialise in development, expanding our capacity to provide expert legal advice across large-scale urban regeneration and mixed-use development schemes.
Partner Christopher Brigstocke is a highly experienced property lawyer specialising in major urban regeneration and infrastructure projects. He has acted for a wide range of clients including developers, investors, funders, landowners and public sector bodies, and has particular expertise dealing with transport and energy infrastructure issues.
Christopher was with Winckworth Sherwood LLP for over a decade, most recently as Senior Practising Lawyer and Head of Knowledge Management for Real Estate. With a special interest in sustainability, he is also a member of the Investment Property Forum’s ESG sub-committee.
Partner Paul Munnings brings over 10 years’ experience as a property lawyer, with a particular focus on work for residential developer clients. Paul is a successful residential developer in his own right, having led his own £6.2m development scheme – making him uniquely placed to understand the commercial and practical considerations of residential development.
Paul also has significant experience with commercial developments, multi-use schemes, landlord and tenant matters, planning, auction sales and property finance, having acted for many major UK lenders. For the past five years he has advised both landowners and developers as a Senior Associate at Prettys.
Commenting on the appointments, Madeleine Davitt, Senior Partner, said:
“Christopher and Paul are pragmatic lawyers known for their ability to solve complex problems and help successfully deliver diverse development schemes. The pair are a fantastic addition to our team and I’m absolutely delighted to welcome them to Davitt Jones Bould.”
